Takeda Investigator Initiated Sponsored Research (IISR)

Takeda and its alliance partners are committed to improve patient care through progress in medicine and increased understanding of important diseases. As part of this commitment, the IISR program supports innovative clinical and basic science studies that lead to publications addressing important scientific questions related to our compounds and therapeutic areas of interest.

IISR is defined as unsolicited, independent research where the investigator or the institution (academic, private, or governmental) serves as the Sponsor for which Takeda provides support (study drug and/or funding) in the form of a research grant.

Research concepts and proposals are reviewed by a review committee consisting of Takeda scientific and medical personnel. Decisions are made based upon scientific merit as well as alignment with research areas of interest and available resources.

The Takeda IISR program utilizes a two step approach to application and review that requires submission of a concept. If a concept is of interest, a follow up request for a protocol submission will be issued. Please see navigation bar for an overview of submission requirements.

CONCEPT SUBMISSION:

Monday, April 9, 2012 - Website Open for Concept Submissions
